Students participating in this class are going to work in competing cross-national teams on a marketing case that consists of the development of a complete market entry strategy of an existing product into the US market. In this semester, we will collaborate with Portland State University, Oregon (USA). An excursion to the company will familiarize our students with the marketing case. During the semester, our students will get theoretical input from Prof. Dr. Iris Ramme on the following topics: Motives for internationalization, cultural differences, segmentation in International Marketing, market entry strategies, product policy, pricing, distribution and communication in International Marketing, designing a marketing plan.
